I have one too... he also ate one of my doves and left feathers. Its sad because the other doves have their mates but, the one just sits their and coos for his mate that was eaten. He takes off with other birds too. Because I feed the birds... he sees my yard as his feeding grounds and my bird feeders as his bait pile lol. The neighbors probably think I am weird because when I see him, I start yelling GET and wave my hands around lol.

Its quite a mature bird Lou,like our Sparrowhawk,their eyes get darker as they get older,from light yellow through to red.

yeah, how's that for a birdshot. I couldn't believe my chance! I had never seen one like that up close before, and there he was, right outside my window :D
