Crochet. Granny squares. Tried putting it together as a blanket, together with other ieces that were different sizes. I still have a lot to learn about crochet, and especially about joining pieces like that. So that didn't look good, I took it all back out. Then put the same size squares together as a scarf. So now it could either stay a scarf, or I can make a few more of these, and still put it together as a blanky. Am tempted to try the latter after all :D

Would make a lovely blanket or waistcoat
Nice to see some different stitches - I often use the basic double-crochet stitch to join squares or use a chainstitch herring-boned if I want it flexible.
I`ve been rather busy crocheting flowers for my daughters wedding (making up bridesmaids bouquets) - had to get different blues so it didn`t bore me think I got a bit carried away with them, just kept finding a slighter better pattern and doing a dozen to add to the bag,

Tough call...it looks lovely as a scarf, but, I understand wanting to growing this beauty into something else. Wear it around for a little while and then see how you feel. Beautiful work!
