Lou's last cigarette

and there it is.. isn't it disgusting? Well, I'm done. I dont' have to smoke anymore.. yay!
33 yrs of nicotine addiction.. each cigarette only soothing the nicotine withdrawal symptoms, and in the end, it couldn't even do that any more. The more I smoked, the less it managed to soothe. Always that panic, seeing a pack nearly empty before the night.. getting out at crazy hours to buy some more. I even remember, long time ago, but I did it.. I once got out my pajama's into some streetclothes, and took the SUBWAY.. to find the only store still open at that time of night. All that for a pack os smokes. I must be cwazy. Now I saw that next month what with other expenses, we'll have trouble paying for my daily smokes. And the panick started already in advance. WTF? So I figured, wouldn't it be neat to be a non-smoker? Then it wouldn't bother me to not being able to buy smokes. So.. I've prepped myself for about 10 days, smoking ess and less. And I just finished reading a book by Allen Carr to help with the switchover and.. just smoked my last smoke. You can see it up there. I'm done! So now I can stop coughing too!
